Well... trust me its simply great!!!

Research is a vast ocean.......It doesn't have a defenite aim .... Nor does it have a purpose(Purpose may be there in future!).... Its just doing what you like and what you believe is "something great" to do! Something that pumps the adrenalin in you :)..... Right now I am doing research on images.... Or technically put it on "Image Processing". I was working with real signals or what you say "acoustic" one-dimensional signals..... or specifically vibration signals for an year... that was coooool!! Its so real that you cant exactly tell "why" it is happening that way!! Images.... is a different world.... all are inter-related through principles.... So thats a short about it.... I am currently working in the Image processing division of the Aricent Communications Ltd, bangalore.
